A matching set of OEM original Brembo brake calipers originally from a 2002 XJR X308 With the R1 performance package.
Also found on the rare XJR 100.
In proper working order. All 4 pistons on each caliper move in and out freely without leaks.
The calipers have been drained and the bleeder valves removed, cleaned up, lubricated and re-installed.
One of the rear calipers has a scraped/bent fluid line. It isn't leaking but should be repaired. Any specialty brake shop can preform this repair without much difficulty (see close-ups)
The original enamel paint has some marks/chips but overall good.
NOTE: These are NOT a direct bolt-on to a non-Brembo/R1 XJR car.
These are only part of the full R1 brake set-up. You also need new brake lines and matching rotors. The caliper attachment points on the steering knuckles/hubs also need minor modification to accommodate the included bolts. Larger, specific wheels required for these calipers to clear. The XJR R1 was originally fitted with 18" BBS "Milan" 8.5" wide rims. These won't fit inside regular XJR wheels, and will NOT fit inside the 18" "Asteroid" wheels.Please do ALL your research before purchase. No returns possible please.
Includes matching genuine Brembo pads as shown. 2 front ones are thin, the other 6 have lots of life left.
All pad retaining pins and clips are included and in great shape. The pad pins need to be carefully driven out with a drift. They are lightly pressure-fit into the caliper housing and installed for shipping/photos.
Includes the pad stainless steel clips and original caliper mounting bolts as shown.
All brake line ports are clean with un-damaged threads. They are covered with black plastic plugs for shipment. No caliper-to-car brake lines included.
